This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes the policies and procedures of Relevium Foundation, Inc. (“Relevium”) (along with our affiliates, “we”, “our” or “us”) on how we collect, use and disclose of information through your use of this website or our mobile application (collectively, the “Charitable Service”).

We may change this Policy and will provide notice of changes through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after notice constitutes your consent to the change. This Privacy Policy applies to all websites and applications (“Sites”) that link to this Privacy Policy.

Any web site which redirects to this Privacy Policy is owned and operated by Relevium. By using and accessing the Site and logging on to the Site you expressly acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms of use (“Terms of Use”) and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES THIS APPLY TO?

This Policy applies to information and personal data we collect, including through our websites, online portals, electronic forms, and surveys on our Sites and by the Charitable Service as described herein. When you use the Charitable Service, you agree to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure, and other uses of your information as described in this Policy.

HOW IS INFORMATION COLLECTED?

Information you provide to us

We collect your personal data and information when you voluntarily provide it directly to us through the Charitable Service. For example, you may give us: your state of residence; your contact information, and any other personal data you choose to include, if you email, text or instant message us, or contact us through our sites; and any personal data contained in, or included with, any feedback, comments, photos, videos, or other information you submit via online portals, forms, surveys, or interactive portions of our sites. We may also upload submitted information into the Charitable Services if you provide that information to us offline or in other ways.

It is always our choice whether to provide this personal data. However, some personal data must be provided to participate in certain programs, activities, or events, so the decision not to provide information may limit or eliminate certain functions or our sites or your ability to participate. Please do not disclose more personal data than is requested.

Information we collect through your use of the Charitable Service

When you use the Charitable Service, we may collect the following information about you:

  • Usage Preferences.We collect information about how you interact with the Charitable Service, preferences, and settings. In some cases, we do this using cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons that create and maintain unique identifiers.
  • Devices and Software. We may collect information about the device and software you provide us to access the Charitable Service, including, for example, hardware, operating system, software and file names and versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, and network information.
  • Log Information. When you interact with the Charitable Service, we collect server logs, which may include information such as your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, Internet service provider (“ISP”), access times, app features accessed, pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, language and referral link information. We may also use cookies and similar technologies to collect data about your interaction with our Sites, including referring webpage, pages visited on our sites, and crash data.
  • If you permit the Charitable Service to access location services used by your device, we may collect the location of your device while you are using the Charitable Service.
  • Communication Information.Information sent by you to us through email or other communications methods.
  • Contact Information.Information provided by you through which the Charitable Service can contact you and send relevant informational material.
  • Occupational information.We can collect information you submit relating to your occupational status while you are using the Charitable Service.

Other information

We may also receive information from other sources, including:

  • Social Media.If you choose to link, create, or log in to your Charitable Service account with a social media service (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, etc.), or if you engage with a separate app or website that communicates with the Charitable Service, we may receive information about you or your connections from that service. In most cases you can control what information you share with us through privacy settings available on those third-party social media services.
  • Third Parties.If you also interact with us in another capacity, including on any other website, app, or in person, we may combine or associate that information with information we have collected from you through the Charitable Service.
  • Our sites are not intended for minors (individuals under the age of 18), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

HOW IS INFORMATION USED?

We may use the information collected as described above as follows:

  • Provide the Charitable Service. Provide, maintain, and improve the Charitable Service, including, for example, to send or facilitate communications among you and other users of the Charitable Service; provide the Charitable Service you request and send related information; administer, safeguard, and improve our Sites, systems, facilities, events and other related operations; protect our rights and the safety of others; contribute to our archive of information in the public interest; develop new features; provide customer support; and send updates and administrative messages. Further, we reserve the right to share the information with our affiliates, marketing partners, and third-party service providers, as permitted by law, in order to fulfill our commitment of providing you with the Charitable Service.
  • Perform internal operations, including, for example, to troubleshoot bugs and operational issues, improve security; conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and monitor and analyze usage and activity.
  • Send you information you have expressly chosen to receive; review and respond to documents, feedback, comments, photos, videos, or other information you submit via online portals, electronic forms, surveys, or interactive portions of our website for our legitimate interests; and to provide you a customer survey to assess your satisfaction with our Charitable Service.
  • Personalize and improve the Charitable Service, including to provide or recommend features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements.

We are based in the United States. By accessing or using the Charitable Service, you consent to the processing and transfer of information about you in and to the U.S. and other countries, where you may not have the same rights under local law. However, wherever we process information about you, we will do so in accordance with this Policy.

HOW IS INFORMATION SHARED?

We may share the information we collect about you as described in this Policy or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows:

Through the Charitable Service.

We may share your information:

  • With our employees, agents, and affiliates who have a business need to know, our service providers (including contingent workers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and out-sourced service providers) to process it for us based on our instructions and for no other purpose, and with partners that collaborate with us to fund projects or host events.
  • With third parties to provide you a service you requested through a partnership or promotional offering made by a third party or us.
  • With the public if you submit to a public part of the Charitable Service, such as comments, social media posts, or other features viewable by the public or generally by registered users of the Charitable Service.
  • With third parties with whom you choose to let us share information, for example other apps or websites that integrate with the Charitable Service, or those with a Charitable Service with which we integrate.

Through other means of Sharing.

We may share your information:

  • With our affiliates and third-party service providers that provide services or conduct data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and/or logistics purposes.
  • With vendors, consultants, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf.
  • In response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
  • In an aggregated and/or anonymous form which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT YOUR DATA

Storage and Transfers

Your personal data may be stored in your region or in any other country where we or our service providers have facilities. We may also allow employees and service providers located around the world to access personal data as provided in this notice.

Storage Period

We will store your personal data until it is no longer needed to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected or as otherwise required or permitted by law. After such time, we will either delete or anonymize your personal data or, if this is not possible, we will securely store your personal data and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible. We may dispose of any data in our discretion without notice, subject to applicable law.

Protection

As the transmission of data via the internet is not completely secure, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to our sites and any such transmission is at your own risk. However, we maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures, including performing regular self-assessments, to prevent unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data. We limit access to personal data and require that employees authorized to access personal data maintain the confidentiality of that data. We hold our service providers to at least the same data privacy and security standards to which we hold ourselves.

WHAT’S THE POLICY ON THIRD PARTY ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING SERVICES?

We may allow others to provide audience measurement and analytics services for us, to serve advertisements on our behalf, and to track and report on the performance of those advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and other technologies to identify your device when you use the Charitable Service, as well as when you visit other online sites and services, and such services will be covered by the privacy policy of the respective third parties.

WHAT ARE MY CHOICES?

Account Information

You may update, correct or delete information about you at any time by emailing us at the email address at the bottom of this page. Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate charitable purposes. We also may retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

Deactivation

You can de-activate your account at any time by contacting us at the email address at the bottom of this page. However, you will not be able to access many of the services to deactivate your account. Please note that even if you request de-activation of your account, information associated with your account may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as required by law.

WHAT ARE CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS?

California residents may request from businesses with whom they have an established business relationship (1) a list of categories of personal information, such as name, address, e-mail address, and the type of services provided to the customer, that a business has disclosed to third parties during the immediately preceding calendar year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes and (2) the names and addresses of all such third parties.
