Lady Luck + The Power of Giving

The Relevium Foundation, in partnership with RESICAP, hosted its annual Casino Night Fundraiser on August 18, 2022 and Lady Luck along with the many generous hearts in attendance made it a smashing success! Attendees had their choice of four casino gaming staples: blackjack, roulette, poker, and craps. Everyone was in high spirits as the events began and the thrill of competing against teammates combined with the anticipation of victory at each game table. Even those who weren’t there to compete had an amazing time mingling with coworkers, enjoying hors d’oeuvres & libations, and taking in the sights of the event. Team members from every department came out in support of this fundraising event and to show the importance of giving to such a noble cause.

Fundraiser Raffles and Funny Money

No fundraiser would be complete without prizes, and this one was no exception. Each $20 donation bought players $100 in Funny Money to play at the gaming tables of their choice. Additionally, each tier of donation purchased a corresponding number of raffle tickets for a chance to win one of eight prizes. The prizes ranged from popular electronic devices to wellness baskets valued at $150 each. Perhaps the best prize of the night, though, was simply the good will and joy that permeated the event. As our very own Relevium Communications Coordinator, Kirsten S., put it:

“It’s always a joy to see everyone come together in support of such a great cause! Tonight’s event was a wonderful success thanks to all of our kind and generous supporters who believe in making a positive impact in the world around them, one home at a time.”

The True Winners

As fun as the night’s events were, it was never about individual winners. Rather, it was always about the households in need of rental relief. Many families are struggling to make ends meet in these trying economic times. Whether it’s due to a layoff, medical expenses, or an untimely death, too many families are on the brink of losing their most important asset: a place to call home. That’s where the Relevium Foundation comes in. Our sole purpose is to provide the assistance that so many seek in their time of need. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our donors, we raised over $12,000! This money will go to qualifying families to provide them temporary rental assistance.

Because of our gracious donors, we are able to be a light in the darkness for those who need it. We’re truly honored to be able to offer help to those most in need.
